Error while executing the test report

Hello

i tried to execute the test report for adobe forms

FP_EXAMPLE_01 but it gave following error

SOAP Framework error: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionTransport : HTTP response contains unexpected content-type(100,101).

is it due to improper configuration of ADS? we checked the ADS connection from SM59 which is ok and also the service /sap/bc/fp through internet which is also ok.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Rajeev

Can you check if you have this program FP_PDF_TEST_00?

If it is there can you try testing this? and let me know the result?

In the connection please enter ADS. It should not give any error if ADS configuration is proper. Otherwise it is confirmed there is error with ADS.

Thanks

ADS is installed in the same server or it is in different java stack.

The above error confirms there is some problem with ADS configuration.

hello

i guess there was the problem of ADSUSER. Now i corrected that and the report FP_PDF_TEST_00 gives proper version of ADS.

But when i execute test report FP_TEST_00 it asks me about printer and when i clicked Print Preview it gave following error

"ADS: Request start time: Mon Jan 14 06:16:01 EST 2008(200101)".

when debugged the code i found error in the class "CL_FP_PDF_OBJECT->execute_internal()" method which is getting called from the FM FPCOMP_CREATE_PDX with error code as "l_errcode = cpdfe_pdf_exe_print_adserror"

but couldn't make anything from that. any clues?

Now you have completed the first test and this confirms now ADS connection is fine.

Just check if you are following the 2nd test correctly or not

Second test:

1) Call transaction SE38.

2) Enter the report name "FP_TEST_00" and choose "Execute" (or press

F8).

3) Enter "FP_TEST_00" for the form, "2" for the number of output pages,

and "ADS" for the ADS connection. The choose "Execute".

4) Enter a valid output device and choose "Print Preview".

5) The Adobe Reader should be displayed in the GUI, and display two

pages with numbered lines.

I hope you might have done everything fine. but just to confirm i am asking.

thanks

I do not see there is any problem with adobe reader.

Can you try with a simple webdynpro application to test the functionality of PDF?

Just one view with the adobe form.

Thanks
