can I delete 001 client on a 46C SR2 R/3 system ?

do not delete that client. it is the reference client.
why do you want to delete it% it does not take that much of disk space.
In old R/3 release (2.X... mybe 3.X) there isn't 001 client, the reference was 000.

You can delete this but why would you? SAP uses this client to access the other clients in the system.
