Solution Manager Diagnostics configuration

Hallo!

I have 2 questions regarding the set up of Solution Manager Diagnostics:

1) Configure managed Systems via URL: http:/host:port/smd

The settings of which system do I need to fill in step 3 "Parameters: Setup Parameters"

(ABAP-instance , J2EE-Instance or of SDM-Instance)

Agent: is filled

Installation Path: drive\usr\sap\SDM

Installation number: 00 (J2EE), 01 (ABAP) or 98 (SDM) ???

2) Set-Up Introscope Agent

I have problem to set up Introscope Agent

Introscope Agent Settings: empty

j2ee Node information detail --> Server node detail: empty

If I press „Set up Introscope settings“, I get

The landscape definition of the selected system im empty. Operation has been aborted.

Any helpful information will be appreciated

Hi Thom,

Here are some clue

1) If it would be a Java, you will not have the entry (Installation Number) available.

So it is Abap one

2) You need to have a Java engine define in your solution.(and ran the managed Setup Wizard)

Introscope Agent are only available for Java Engine.
