Problem with sales- BOM

Hi Guys,

I want your help regarding an issue with our MRP. Normally when we sell the top level part, the BOM level parts will be issued with 261 movement to the customer and the stock gets reduced in our warehouse. But from past one week, this is not happening as only Top level is getting issued out but not effecting the below level parts. We couldn't find what went wrong so any ideas will be very much helpful.

hello, friend.

please check your material master and note the item category group in Basic Data 1 and/or Sales Org 2.

if the item category group is ERLA (or its defined equivalent), then inventory, MRP and price relevance are at the superior level of the BOM.

if the item category group is LUMF (or its defined equivalent), then inventory, MRP and price relevance are at the sub-component (parts) level.

Please check the MRP type of the child components in the respective material masters.

MRP type is a crucial field which decides if the requirements are to flow to the planning department or not for the concerned material.
