Pipe Backup Configuration error

Hi,

I am trying to configure Pipe backup to a remote server

I have kep .rhost entry in the home directory of ora<sid>. and

<sid>adm..permission for the file is set as" chmod 600 .rhosts" for and also kepr .netrc file in / directory...but when i start backup using brbackup i am getting error"rshd: 0826-813 Permission is denied"...Pls help me resolve the Issue

Hi,

Can you check whether the reverse lookup is working?

did you put the correct alias for nslookup?

Hi,

The Nslookup is configured properly ,i am able to ping the remote server with machine name , and the reverse lookup from remote server is also working ..Is there anything related with the permisson as i am getting the rshd permission denied error..

did you try to execute brbackup using orasid?

is it giving same error?
