Hi,
I have developed a sapscript which includes a bar code field. Group of my colleagues can see the bar code in their output, but some them can't. Besides, they are using the same model printer.
The only different is some of the user can enter the printer name in SAP and print the docuement. But, some of them must setup the default printer in windows before they print and specify local device in SAP. Would this affect the printing result??
Regards,
Kit
Hi Kit,
If you want to print barcodes then you need barcode dll file for it.Just check if it is already installed,or else you will have to install it.Only then your colleagues will be able to see it.

Hi Kit,
Yes it would. If one group is printing from a SAP defined printer this will use different printer drivers to those printing via the PC. Typically if you want to print barcodes using frontend printing you need to install a barcode dll on the frontend, if you google 'SAP barcode dll' you find plenty offered for download.

Nick
