Budget exceeded

Dear Friends:

Have anyone knows PS, how to calculate budget balance?

ex : Totoal budget 1000.

2 activities and release to PR already.

ACT1(PR1) : 500. ACT2(PR2) : 400.

Budget balance = 1000 - 500 - 400 = 100.

Then transfer 100 to another WBS and set deletion flag at ACT2.

Budget balance = 1000 - 500 - 400 - 100 + 400 = 400. right?

Now I need undo deletion flag ACT2. But system will show message "Budget exceeded 400". Why? My budget balance is 400, why system show this message. I think that is bug right? Would you help me?

Try tcode CJEN, CJBW and CJBN. Run it in background and make sure no posting to project (after office hours)

Hi Jenifer,

If your problem is not yet solved, try the following.

If you want to delete the PR, you can do so without setting the deletion flag. By doing so, the commitment also gets reduced. Try this and let me know.

Hi,

I guess this problem is on account of setting deletion flag on ACT2 before deleting the corresponding PR. Hence though deletion flag was set, commitment of 400 still remained.
