SAP A1 on SLES 10 SP1

Scenario is something like that SAP A1 installed on SLES 10 SP1.

system is in runlevel 3 so can't launch sap gui. But our SAP Logon 710 installed on windows m/c. I want to add a new item in this

SAP Logon 710 but not able to find system ID and system number of sap instance which is running on SLES box.

In SLES box in which file I can get these 2 parameters.

Any pointers will be highly appreciated.

Hi,

start the SAP Java GUI on the client and follows these instructions:

Choose Button: NEW

Choose most right Tabstrip: ADVANCED

Choose Checkbox: Advanced Connection Information

Enter the following: conn=/H/<hostname or ipaddress>/S/32<SAP System ID>

Choose top field and give a description

Choose Button: SAVE

Now you have defined a SAP Java GUI connection to your SAP System.
