external JARs from a DC in CE

Hi,

I need to call an external JARs from a DC.

I've tried in several ways following both:

Blog 1: /people/valery.silaev/blog/2005/09/14/a-bit-of-impractical-scripting-for-web-dynpro

and

Blog2 : /people/bala.krishnan2/blog/2006/09/25/bid-adieu-to-bots--using-captchas

but none of it seems to work since I always get the exception ClassNotFound.

I am using:

AP NetWeaver Developer Studio

SAP NetWeaver 7.1 Composition Environment SP03 PAT0000

Hi Pradeep,

are you sure that you have deployed the external jar on the Webserver.

If you do not done this and you don't have set the external Libraries in the preferences of the DC, you will got this error.

Hi Pradeep,

you have to create a DC J2EE Server Component Library. In this DC you have to implement in the used DC the library DC which you have build before.

This J2EE Server Component Library you can now deploy it on the server.
