What is the work of the solution design team . and

what is sol manager.

What is cut over strategy./ activity

As u mentioned what is roll out project and maintainance project..

Yes,you are right,incase if the project is running on remote delivery,then both the team we call as Solution design team.

Rollout project is called using global template(country already implemented SAP) we will rollout for other countries,so that client will save time and cost.

Maintanance project is called afetr golive of the project we are supporting for their day-to-day business.

The project is operating from two or more location then Ofshore and onsite team involved for delivery,the team who is sits in onsite have interaction with client for their business processes and to map into sap.

This team is calles Solution design team.

what is sol manager.

this tool to store all the BBP(business blue print) documents during implementation or rollout project phases.It can be used for maintanance projects also.

What is cut over strategy./ activity

---Data migration activities before system golive.for instance Customer,Vendor and G/L balances upload.

hi,

am nt sure abt the sol design team, i guess its the team tht is wrking on resolving the issue. sol man is the application tht is shipped with ur SAP package which shud be used to conduct chnage mgmt, testing, note application, service sedk mgmt etc. cut over strategy means how data will be migrated. training can also be a prt of cutover.
