Workcenter Creation-Maintenance and production

Dear all,

Is it possible to create workcenter enclosing the two capacity categories (Say Labour and machine) ?.If it so, what are the advantages and disadvantages?

Can we use the same workcenter at the maint workcenter and production workcenter fields at the equipment master provided the above case is possible?

hi

i think you can create a workcenter with two categories as specified but it will be confused either,becaus one has to differentiate between the machine and labour.

the work center provided in location tab page is the production work center ,this is used when your equipment is being maintained by mechanical person and used for production by production people,as i said before for better clarity of the work center it is useful if you create differently for machin as well as labour capcity
