categories to which data can be released

Hi,

Can somebody tell me what are all the categories we can use when releasing data from DP to SNP? I know there is one Forecast (FA) and may be FB....any other categories possible?

Hi Raj,

The standard ones are:

FA FC req. Planned independent requirements

FB VMI:PROMO VMI: Demand for promotions

FC Forecast Forecast

FD VMI-FCST ICH: VMI Forecast

FE IntFrcDesc Internal Forecast f. IntFrcDesc. in SNP

Hi,

FA & FC are the std category to which u can release the forecast.

You can also create your own custom category to release forecast from DP to SNP if forecast is stored at different levels.

I have always used FA. Even for VMI Demand. FB & FC stuff can be done using FA also, but FB acts like 'Additive' demand. It is important to know the differences. I think Sales Order Consumption of Forecast does not happen in all Forecast Categories but only FA/FC upon Release to SNP.

The other Categories I've never used ... so not the best person to talk about.
