Proportional factors

Hello,

While calculating proportional factors, the system normalizes the factors before saving them in the key figure so that the total for all characteristics values combinations in the smallest period specified in the storage buckets profile for the planning area is 1. This result is then multiplied by 10000 to avoid rounding problems with small factors, since liveCache only saves three decimal places.

SAP has a note by which if we apply the multiplikator can be changed from 10,000 to 10,000,000.

We applied that note. We ran the job with following parameters.

1. Basis for proportion - Planning area - DRZR1

Cal proportions for - Planning area - DRZR1

Proportion calc. type - Fixed

The results seen have an effect of 10,000,000

2. Basis for proportion - Planning area - DRZR1

Cal proportions for - Planning area - DRZR1

Proportion calc. type - Detailed

The results seen does not have an effect of 10,000,000 but only 10,000

What could be the reason ?

Which note did you apply to bring the changes?

By the way the base kf and the prop factors kf should not be same kf . Let us knwo if you find the silution.
