CIF query on PDS

Hi Gurus,

We are using SCM 5.0. Integration model is successful for BOM of the material. However it is not reflecting in the PDS Structure in APO System. Finished Good has no Production Version and Routing.

Question is, does PDS do not reflect BOM with no routing and Production Version? and why?

I dont think you would have the Prod Version and Routing data in APO. I must hasten to add though that for each combination of Prod Version and Routing Data you should see one PDS. Check table /SAPAPO/CURTOWUL for details for this.

I had tested PDS in SCM 4.1 & at that time, it did need Production Versions mentioning the BOM to come to APO as PDS. In short to have PDS in APO reflecting a BOM you had to setup a Production Version with a BOM and without a Routing. This was for scenario Subcontracting.

Not sure if SCM 5.0 has changed. Need to test.

Yes, I have tested this scenario and found out that BOM will not be reflected in APO unless there is Production Version attached to it.
