SAP Network bandwidth requirment

What is the minimum bandwidth requirment of SAP server.

Also what is the minimum LAN/ WAN/Internate bandwith required for SAP frontend to communicate with SAP servers

Hi Nikhil,

For SAP Servers a standard network CAT5 will be fine for server communication... be even nicer to have a CAT6 or fiber for communication between the servers and also be nice to have them under their own VLAN.

As per SAPGui connectivity... you can use sapgui without issues on a regular standart CAT5 Network and when working remotely a regular broadband/DSL and or even a modem 56k connection will do.

The fast and secure the better of course.
