APO Planning with Phantom assembly

Hi,

We have APO 5 and r3 4.6c

When I create manual Planned order in Product view of APO, it is not creating dependent demand for phantom componenets.

However, when I assign the phantom product to the last activity of the PDS, it does create dependent demand. I tried to change the relationship etc also in Master recipe/PDS but it seems there is some linkage between the activities Vs BOM explosion.

Has anyone some idea on how the Recipe/PDS for phantom sud be structured ?

Hi,

if you are using start-start relationships with offset in your recipe see following note

908665 - Variable duration of an activity is not taken into account

In our case the MatFlow indicator was the reason for not exploding the phantoms.
