Posting Stock In plant

While doing stock posting(MB1C) in plant I am Getting the following Error.

1). Posting only possible in periods 2008/03 and 2008/02 in company code ENSU

2). IN MB1C DOCUMENT DATE = 10.01.2008

3). IF I AM GIVING 10.03.2008(BASED ON THAT ERROR)

IT THROWS A WARNNING MESSAGE = DOCUMENT DATE IS IN FUTURE.

BUT IT ACCEPTING AND POSTING WAS DONE SUCESSFULLY & I AM GETTING THE DOCUMENT NUMBER ALSO.

4). BUT IN T.CODE: MMBE = MATERIAL WAS NOT THERE.

5). IF I AM RAISING A SALES ORDER SYSTEM GIVES A POP-UP-BOX STATING THAT

"EXPRESS DOCUMENT UPDATE WAS TERMINATED IN MBIC"

6). AFTER SALES ORDER IN PGI AGAIN THE SAME ERROR

hello, friend.

sounds like the periods open in your system is in Feb 2008 and Mar 2008.

In SAP, only 2 periods are open for posting at any one time. so maybe you should ask your FI or MM consultant to reset posting period. in MM, the t-code is MMPV.

Hi Hari,

I guess the whole issue is nothing but you are not able to post the stock using MB1C and thats becoz u r getting "update terminate"...meaning system is not saving the material document for some reason...to know the exact reason,i suggest u to look into SM13 tcode..and excute for user or date..u will get the list of updates that were terminated and also tcode against it....when u double click it will take u to function module update list...here u will be able to see the error...involve ABAPer for resolving

chk the fiscal year variant 'K4' is assigned to your company code or not in T-code OB37.

Hari,

We can do this using MMPV, here you have to reverse the posting period. I hope this can be done only by FI or MM consultants.

Take help from them and do it.

Please go through the the transaction MMPV there you enter comapnycode and the date on which date you want to post and execute.
