Hi Experts,
Two days back, I have transoprted two requests and after that I am getting dumps in the production system for SYNTAX_ERROR. Now I want to revert back the changes done by that transport request.
Please suggest, how can I do it.....this ver urgent and production is on Halt........
Regards
Sharath
Another Option:
Caution:
This option is valid only if your transport request modified a program (and only a program).
Use version management to revert the program you modifed.
In your production server:
Goto SE38 and provide the name of the program that was modified by your transport request.
Now goto the menu item Utilities->Versions->Version Management
The currently active version must be ticked.
Un check the version that bears your transport request name and check the previous version.
Prior to all this your client must be set to modifiable i think.
PS: The options given by Oliver are the most recommended ones however.

Siddhesh

Hi,
You have 2 options :
Restore the production system from a backup prior to the import.
Create new transport requests on the DEV system which undo the change and import them in the production system.
Did you qualify on the QAS system before importing in the production system ?

Olivier
