631 for consingment fillup

Dear Balaji

These are part of consignment fillup and consignment issue process.

631 - If you despatch from a plant to warehouse, the stock from FG will move to "Cust.Consignment" which is nothing but special stock intended for a specific customer.

632 - Reversal of 632 which means, either the material is returned from warehouse and due to documentation error, if you would like to reverse the stock to FG, you can do so through 632 movement

633 - From warehouse, if the warehouse person issues a part quantity to end customer, while generating issue delivery, stock will get reduced from "Cust.Consignment"

634 - This is reversal of 634. If there is a returns from end customer, you have to do PGR (Post Goods Receipt) in which case, the stock will once again come into plant's inventory.

Hi

SAP also introduced new movement types with ECC EHP and now in S/4 HANA for consignment as 63A, 63B, 63C and 63D. These seemingly allow for in-transit posting for consignment stock.

All these movement types are used in consignment process.

Consigment Fillup

631 Transfer posting unrestricted use - customer consignment stock

The quantity is transferred from unrestricted-use stock to consignment stock at customer place.

Consinment Pick Up

632 Transfering the consignment returns stock to the company's unrestricted stock

.

Consignment Issue

633 Goods issue from customer consignment (Shipping)

The quantity is withdrawn from unrestricted-use consignment stock at the customer.

Consignment Returns

634 is reversal of 633.
