Routing with leading Zero ???????? Anyone Plz

Hi All,

Is there any Configuration setting to help upload the Routing Master data with leading zero (say 00123 instead 00000123) similar to Lexicographical setting for Material number.

Hi SP,

If you are asking about importing data in MDM with leading zero's in field values. then it is possible by the replacement option present in Import Manager.

1. Go to import manager, map the source field with target field.

2. Right click on the source field, go to Set value conversion filter --> Replace. put 000 in find what and leave blank replace with.

3. field values will automatically change after it. for eg. 00000123 will be changed to 00123.

and if you want 00123 should change 00000123 then

1. go to set value conversion filter --> apply operator.

2. operator = prepend and operand 2 is 000.

it will convert 00123 to 00000123.

I was talking about Routing(Group field) in SAP with 00123 and also different 0123. We want to treat the Routing 00123 different as 0123. As part of cleansing we have taken care of this.

CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT
