Business Process Monitoring - Error on Monitoring type

Hi All

I am currently busy testing the BPM monitoring types for business scenario.

I am getting a warning message that says " Collector Application Log for solution 0000100100_0020173325 is inactive for system PFI". I am getting the same message for monitoring types "Document Volume" and "Other Alert Collection". What does the message mean and what should I do to resolve it?

Hello Khuselwa,

where do you see this error message? In the activation protocol of BPM or directly in the RZ20 in the Solution Manager system?

Probably if the problem persists someboday has to really look into your system so you should probably open a ticket on component SV-SMG-MON-BPM.

Hi

This is regarding i am also facing same problem in system.

we have defined many bpm's in solman .

due to some error we have deleted the collector node and then regenerated all the bpm and activated.

now in bpm out put some days it is giving results and some days not.

can you please tell us what could be reason.

Hi,

Simply this means that your collector on SOLMAN system is not running. To resolve perform the following:

(1) Investigate cause of failure

- trns RZ20-->'view status collector' (if error and I suspect there will be in your case...perform next step

- Reset the collector status (edit>node>reset.

The above should fix your problem.
