Hi,

In VOV7, choose the It Cat. In that you'll find a field "Create Delivery group". This will allow you to deliver the whole BOM together.

Hi

Try configuring the field 'Create Delivery Group' in VOV7 for both the item categories - TAP and TAN.

Thanks,

Hi,

Creating a Delivery Group

To create a delivery group in a sales document, proceed as follows:

Choose the Shipping tab page from the overview screen.

For each of the items that you want to combine into a delivery group, enter the same number in the Delivery group field.

For example, if you want to combine three items into a delivery group, you enter 1 in the Delivery group field for each item. You can create additional delivery groups by using different numbers.

Choose Enter or Save to save your data.

The delivery groups are created. The system creates the schedule line date for each delivery group and copies it to the sales document.

Don't forget to check "Complete Delivery" Indicator.

Moreover, In Customizing for item categories, you can control that the system should generate correlated schedule lines for the delivery group. You can do this by selecting A in the Generate delivery group field for the item category in the bill of material main item.

Hi,

How to create a BOM for an additional usage:

Choose Logistics - Production - Master data - Bills of material - Bill of material Material BOM - Create.

You see the Create material BOM: Initial screen.

Enter the following data:

– Material (which already has a BOM for a different usage)

– Plant (in which you want the BOM to be valid)

– Usage (for which no BOM exists yet)

– Alternative (if required)

– Data to define the validity period

Confirm your entries.

The item overview appears.

Enter all the items you require.

Confirm your entries.

The BOM usage you selected may support some item status indicators as optional fields. If you want to process the indicator for several items, select these items and click .

The item detail screen appears.

Check the availability of the material here.

This is with reference to make to order scenario.

Or else you can just check the items in the BOM and check their individual availability by selecting icon given at the bottom of the screen.

regards,

Siddharth.

Hi Lakshman,

You can maintain Delivery group field with the option x in the Itemcategory detailed screen at Bill of Material/configuration tabe T.code VOV7

Then it will allow only one delivery with all subitems

I hope it will help you

Hi

It is as mentioned above by Samier . The F1 help for that field shows.,

Form delivery group and correlate BOM components

Here you can determine whether sub-items that belong to a main item, and which resulted from a BOM explosion, are to be combined in a delivery group.

Use

You use a delivery group to determine a common delivery date for all the items that it contains. If you double the quantity ordered for the main item, then the order quantity for the sub-item will also be doubled.

Indicator X means that a delivery date is created for the delivery group. The system uses the last date (chronologically) of an item in this group to create the schedule line date.

Indicator A means that the system generates correlated schedule lines. If no complete delivery is required, as soon as all the items in a bill of material are available, the system creates a correlated schedule line. On the first date, when all items in a bill of material are available, a confirmed quantity is issued.

Thanks,

Ravi
