IDOC Issue

We have a problem with our Ack (ALEAUD).

Our scenario is SAP --> XI --> FILE

Everything seems to be configured correctly and we receive the Ack's back into the Sending SAP system. However the Status of the original IDoc is not updated.

After further digging I have noticed that the field DOCNUM from the E1STATE segment is missing.

I have seen many threads relating to the same error but none seem to solve it...

Could anyone provide some insight into this matter?

Hi guys, I thought I would let you know the solution we found to our problem since there are actually quite a few similar questions on these forums all with no answers.

We actually implemented the following note 1080084

Now everything works perfectly!

How is the Aleaudit sent back to SAP? Is it done automatically by XI? Or is is triggered manually ?

It is sent back automatically by xi. We have configured everything as usual - SXMB_ADM, IDoc Receiver Channel with "Ack" in the name, the partner profile with AUD1 as the process code.

to be frank, not sure why this problem is occuring.

Is this a latest SP patch? Did you try service market place for SAP notes?

Yes I have also tried the service market place and cannot really find anything...

Seriously has anyone faced this problem and solved it?
