SAP Web AS Java 6.4 90 Day Trial, then what?

Former Member

Hello:

I have been working with the 90 day trail of Web AS Java and am wondering, what happens after 90 days. Will there be a renewal process? Will you be able to purchase from SAP Shop like the miniBasis systems?

Also, anything planned around trail sized 'XI'.

Thanks in advance.

If you want to go on, you can install again after 90 days.

You will have to build up your system again, but that's why it is a trial.

You also could purchase it.

The 90-day clock starts on the day I install (not the SN II 6.4 was was released)?

Hello Gunether,

you may contact your local SAP sales representative or use the usual contact channel over internet. Details are available at www.sap.com. I guess you want to go to the german sub page: http://www.sap.com/germany/contactus/contact.asp

With kind regards,

Thanks Benny!

I contacted our local SAP rep (Chicago) but it looks like 6.40 is only available for rampup customers so far. Regular (official) release date for the ABAP and Java stack is not before October 2004.

Cheers,

Guenther

oops, sorry that is what I implicitly thought you know already. Of course buying is only possible once the product is for general availability.
