Contact Person role

Hi SRM Gurus,

While creating a user for contact person of a Bidder, we have to select the role of the contatc person like SAP_BBP_STAL_BIDDER etc.

But the F4 for selecting role, gives me even SAP_BBP_STAL_MANAGER, SAP_BBP_STAL_CONTENT_MANAGER etc.

Is it correct? If I am creating a user for bidder, then system will give only stallbidder option right?

The roles appearing in the F4 search is what you have entered into the organizational structure.

Thats right.

But is it meaningful to assign manager role for an employee?

Do a filtering required for this F4?

Hi,

You can use the BADI BBP_F4_READ_ON_EXIT method GET_ROLE to restrict what to display on screen as well.

looks like the user who is creating the contact person , does not have authority to assign the role 'SAP_BBP_STAL_BIDDER '.

please check in ppoma_bbp, wether the user role 'SAP_BBP_STAL_BIDDER' is assigned in the tab attributes
