Hi,

I don't understand your question. What do you want to know? Do you mean dragging a BAPI to the storyboard and use it as a data service, e.g. for getting sales order?

You can use BAPI from ERP resp. BI System also ABAP RFC function modules works like BAPIs.

Give me more input for a better answer.

Hi,

No the BAPIs are not already built.

You create the BAPIs in your R/3 system (or the ones already available). You need to create a Portal System which links to your R/3 system. This System can then be used to drag BAPIs (which are available in your R/3 system) onto your Visual Composer dashboard.

Hi,

BAPIs are delievered by SAP and they are closed business processes. For using BAPIs of an ABAP system you need to create a portal system (from the type R/3) as Ankur mentioned. I have already written a blog about [creating a portal system|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/6068] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken];. You can compare a BAPI with an ABAP RFC function module which is maintained by SAP and the interfaces of the BAPI never changed in upcoming SPS. How to create an ABAP RFC function module and combine it with VC is described in my two blogs:

[Visual Composer and ABAP RFC/BAPI a powerful combination part I|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/5221] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken];

I hope things getting clearer.

Best Regards,

Marcel
