JMS receiver Adapte

Hi All

We are using MQSeries adapters to connect XI with AS400 . When AS400 is restarted by an scheduling maintenance XI adapter gets an error "Problem with JMS queue connection; provider error code: MQJMS2002, provider error message: MQJMS2002: failed to get message from MQ queue".

Properties Error Handling Settings : Wait After Message Error and Wait Before Reconnect are set up to 1000 msecs. If we do a restart of the XI JMS adapters everything works OK. It seems like XI does not try to reconnect again.

Is there any way JMs adapters try several times after get the connection.

Gerardo,

1) as400 machines dont restart that frequently...even with ptf..not all need rebooting...

2) 1000 msecs is no way enough of a wait...........if you know as400..you know what i mean......

3) change the wait to a much much much larger value that worked for us...though we rebooted only once or twice a year...
