changing price after commercial invoice

hi friends

I have a scenario where we have multiple deliveries and commercial invoices per sales order.

And it is possible that pricing may be changed by customer or statutory variations in duties like excise or cess may occur during span of delivery.

Can anybody pl guide regarding how can i change price in sales order after commercial invoice is done.

Dear Mandar

In sale order, it is not possible to change the rate once you create the subsequent document, be it a delivery or billing.

However, you can change the price at billing as follows.

Go to VTFL, select the combination of your billing type and delivery type, double click "Item" on your left. Here select your Item Category and click blue lens on top. Now on your right screen, you will see a field "Pricing Type". This should be "B" in your case.

In cases of wrong prices, you have to follow one of the following procedures.

1. Cancel teh invoice doucment in VF11 and then reprice the sales order in VA05(after changing the condition records with latest prices) , and then create the invoice. For this the configuration needs to be done for enabling the invoice cancellation process.

2. If 1 is not feasible, then create a credit memo for the difference in value.

Hi,

Since afetr completion of Invoice the sales order status is completed you can't be able to change price in sales order.

If you want you have to cancel invoice and update price.That is the only way.
