eSOA - Access to SAP ERP 2005 (ECC 600)

Hi Friends,

I got access to some SAP System, through my OSS id given for me, for the limited period of time. I want to work on BI and and i tried creating an InfoSource. When i create an infosource, i m getting the message "You are not authorized to display the infosource". When i view the detailed message, i get

You are not authorized to display the InfoSource

Message no. RSM909

Diagnosis

InfoSource: SLS_INFSRC

Application component: NODESNOTCONNECTED

Procedure

To display the InfoSource you require authorization for authorization object Data Warehousing Workbench - InfoSource (Release > BW 3.x)</> with application component 2. and activity 03.

Whether it is not possible to work with BI in this test system?

As the system says you need an additional right to do this:

• Transaction PFCG => Copy Role SAP_BW_ALL to (for example) ZSAP_BW_ALL

• ZSAP_BW_ALL => Change

• TAB: authorization

• => Change authorization data

• => selection criteria

• in the tree => open "business information warehouse"

• open "data warehousing workbench - infosource (release > bw 3.x)

• change the "-" to a "+"

• set values

• generate, save

...
