SAP_REORG_UPDATERECORDS problem

Hello,

I've scheduled again that job : SAP_REORG_UPDATERECORDS (in sm36/37) with a specific user which is used only for scheduling job.

But i get this error message every day.

Can someone explain me what happened and how to solve the problem ?

Here is the log :

Step 001 started (program RSM13002, variant SAP&001, user name JOBADM)

Reorganization of update data not permitted in background

Job cancelled

Hi Alexandre,

SAP_REORG_UPDATERECORDS should not be runned in the background as per "SAP Note 16083 - Standard jobs, reorganization jobs"

Also check SAP Note 67014

Hello Alexandre,

Please check OSS note 16083 .It clearly states that SAP_REORG_UPDATERECORDS will be terminated when run in background. Additionally also check 1034532.
