i am working in a sap 4.7e .

i want to kernal upgrade from sap 4.7e (release 620) to sap ecc5.0(640).

can u give the procedure or step.

this is my urgent task .

any one can help me to solve this task.

Hi,

Your "urgent" task is not possible. (Guess what : it's not urgent for anyone except you so it's not worth telling us...)

A kernel upgrade from 6.20 to 6.40 will not magically transform your R/3 system in an ECC 5.0 system.

If you just want to go from SAP R/3 4.7 kernel 6.20 to SAP R/3 4.7 kernel 6.40, yes, it's possible and you have to use the Search key here because it has already be described countless times before.
