When I am doing the PGI for the delivery i am getting error message

Hi All,

Could you please help to solve this issue,

When I am doing the Pgi for one Delivery I am receiving the error message "Posting only possible in periods 2008/03 and 2008/02 in company code", please help to provide the step to resolve this issue.

Could you please provide the step by steps, because i am not FI consultent, I have the authorization but i don't know weather i have to do or not, FI consultent is on leave.

i dont't know the steps. am also the same problem like,

i had a problem one time this wil solve with FI consultant, that time i sit with him, he say if you are doing this posting take care about this this will be a big problem. if once you enter this become the big problem, this can solve also MM guys. pl refer with them also,

generally this will happen we should do delete the plants and once again do the assignments, r u in implementation.

This is the posting period problem . Go to MMPV and give your company code and close the months till 2008/06 . Then again do the delivery .

To check in which period your company code is use t.code MMRV

Hi,

If you are not able to do the PGI in the current period; then you can mention a back date apart from the one you got in the error message;you will be able to do the PGI.

Dear Friend,

Make sure you have sufficient quantity in the stocks

The open posting period for your company code is 2008/03 means "oct Nov december" and "Jul aug sep"

So the posting will be possible only in these periods.

Go to TC: OBYC and maintain the posting periods.

Open or close the periods.

You can as well use tC:OB52

CHANGE VEIW POSTING PERIODS SPECIFY TIME INTERVAL: OVERVEIW

go and close the posting periods of that particular period by going to MMPV

for this

-->Go to enterprise stru assignment

-->deleter u r c.code to plant

-->goto OMSY...assign current month and year to u r c.code

-->again go to enterprise stru assign ment

-->Assign the earlier deleted plant to u r c.code

Hi,

You can change the posting periods only by 1 month at a time.

t:code: mmpv.

change the company code gradually by 1 month.

also simultaneously check the effect of the change by t:code OMSY.

Select the choose and close option in MMPV.

u hav to check what type of calender year selected for that company code & also check whether u closed the periods already.

Hi,

This means that you can post materials in this period only. I think you have already closed the periods which can't be opened for present period. Well, you need to check in MMRV that till which period posting is possible. If it says Current Period as 02//2008 or 03/2008 then you can't open it to present period i.e. 01/2008
