Hi Experts,
i want to learn ABAP that is needed in XI.
i am not interested in how to create FRICE objects.
Please guide me ..from where to start in ABAP ..so that i can do the coding need in ABAP proxy and ABAP mapping.
please please guide me frnds.. what topics in ABAP i should cover...thanx a lot....
You should know
1. How to create Ztables.
2. How to create Basic Reports.
3. How to create RFC
4. How to create custom IDocs
5. How to work on Exits & Enhancements
6. ALE settings
Moreover, you should have a good experience/understanding in INTERNAL TABLES.
Overall you should have a good experience in ABAP.

Hi Sam,
You should first start by knowing the different types of tables in abap. Then you shold know about how to maintain the tables in ABAP. Then you should have a brief uinderstanding about report programming.
You should also have an idea about the object oriented programming concepts as you are working in proxies. Then for coding part you sholud have good understanding of the BAPI and BADI. You should also have a good understanding of the SELECT QUERY. You should also know about the INTERNAL TABLES and WORKAREAS.
