help in smartforms

I am trying to print employee details in smartforms.when i see the printpreview without pattern it ok, but if i select pattern(by selecting all cells and clicking on patterrn and selecting the one with borders) the output is just a black box.

Pavan,

When you use pattern and there you have defined rows and cells, then in the text control which you create to specify the Data field there you have to specify the in the OUTPUT OPTINS the line (row) and Column in which the data should be displayed.

Eg: Pattern contains row 1 and cell 2

Emp Name should be in Line 1 and Col 1

Emp Last name should be in Line 1 and Col 2.
