stock posting error

hi gurus

am sap sd learner

wen i will post the stock using mb1c am getting error like posting possible in periods 2002/10 and 2002/11 in company code

after getting this message i done using mmpv in that take from company code standard to my company code then given period 01 and fiscal year 2008 then again am getting error like this........

invalid period for company code

what can i do now

pls help me

pls let me know the clear steps for doing stock posting and posting periods...

hi

in MMPV u have to close all the periods from 2002/11 to 01/2008

like 11/2002 and then 12/2002 , 1/2003 ,1/2004 like so on

and also in OB52 select u r variant like 0001 or 1000 the one which u assigned to u r company change the years to 2008

3steps you need to check

1) first you need to check your palnt is assiened to your company code in customising.

2) if it is assigned check OB52 toyour company code change the currrent year 2008.

3) in mmpv you yove to close the periads till date.

Hi,

Your Material Magagement period is 11/2002 and 10/2002.

you can check this using OMSY for your company code.

you need to close all the periods using MMPV till date
