automation of sales process, sales orders, deliveries, goods mvt & billing

Hi SD Gurus,

I have a SD Idocs comming to my system. I need to automate the SD process mainly create deliveries, goods movement and billing. Can I do this using Idocs or any other way.

We can always use ABAP and use BAPIs to do it but is there any better way or easy of doing it.

hello, friend.

when the customer orders come in thru IDOCs, your sales order is filled up and saved. you can configure your sales order to automatically create a delivery by using the settings of the RUSH ORDER.

once the delivery is created, you have to manually pick and post goods issue. of course, you can always talk to your ABAPer to try automating this part.

after goods issue you can create billing. it is possible to automatically create billing when you are using LE-Transportation: in here you can configure that the billing is created when shipment is completed. however, you may have to do manual steps in creating shipment.

As per my understanding, it will be possible through Abap Development & not Idoc.
