CRM SERVICE PROCESS VERY URGENT

In CRM provision is there which allows the service engineer to carry

spares along with him.

For following the above procedure, we want to know

1) What are the documents which the service engineer will carry with him

along with the spares?

2) How will the spares issued in the name of a service engineer

accounted?

3) How it will be related during the time of generating service invoice

so that the spares actually used at site will also be invoiced?

Please provide other details also concerning the above issue.

1. In ECC v call them shop papers.. Usually the ones required by the service engineer are one paper providing all data pertaining to the equipment, second regarding the kind of maintenance (if it is preventive maintenance).

2. In ECC v usually map the service engineers car as a storage location. All spares he carries in his car boot are deemed as stock in that storage location. I have heard of stock being treated as consignment stock also.

3. Not clear. The service engineer usually will make note of what spares were used for the order and take customer signature. If the customer is invoiced monthly then the invoice will be generated based on the resources consumed. Else, he will manually write an invoice for the spares consumed collect the cash and return to service center.
