Hi,
Is there a way to generate an email when a dump happens on an SAP instance.
Thanks
Hi fabrice,
You can setup CCMS to send you an alert by mail,

I have the same problem.
I want to create an email when a dump occured.
In RZ20,I assigned the method CCMS_OnAlert_Email as
autoreaction method to the MTE class R3AbapShortdumps.
I configured the method with SENDER,RECIPIENT etc.
'Execute method' on is set to 'the local server of the MTE to be prcessed'.
When a short-dump occured, the view 'Status Autoreaction' shows 'checked Run required',
but no Email is sent. When I start the method manually (edit->nodes->start method, the
email appears.
What did I forget or what's wrong ?

Fabrice,
Once quick point that may be your issue with this situation that is not in the information is that you need to have email enabled and running before sending emails from SAP. This is transaction SCOT - have you already done this activity in the respective clients in your system? If it is running - do you have any errors listed in the outbound queue in transaction SCOT?
