DEBMAS into ECC - internally assigned

Hi,

Am trying to post customer idoc DEBAMS into ECC. Customer is getting created successful when they are externally assigned. How to post idoc with customer# to be internally assigned in ECC ?

I posted the KUNNR field with blank value. IDOC failed with "No customer ID found for partner".

Hi All,

A way to upload customer master records with DEBMAS is to enter "/" in the field KUNNR in the idoc. By doing this an internal number will be assigned to your customer master.

In other words:

E1KNA1M-KUNNR = '/'.

Are you using MSGFN = 009 to indicate record creation ?

Hi,

No good results for msgfn = '009'.

So I think you can create customer number (kunnr) by yourself using fm BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETINTNUMBER .
