Data Fields Missing in VC

We have created a custom BAPI to call data into VC.

When checking the custom BAPI in SE37 all the fields are displayed.

When testing in the VC Test Data Service one of the fields is not displayed.

Any ideas why this is happening?

log into http://servername:port/VC

tools->options->compiler->Data Service Retrieval->set values as do not cache data service

Hi there,

Choose option define data service from the context menu of your BAPI. Are you able to see the missing field in the list of imput fields?

Yes I am, it's only after compling and viewing thru th eportal that I cannot see the data.
