Can images be processed in PI

Hello Experts,

I want to know whether image files or pdf files can be processed into xml in PI and sent? If yes then which adapter do we use for the same. Or do we use proxies for them?

Please help me in this regard.

As for pdf files we use file adapter

as far as image files i have no idea sorry

Just another method:

With this one you can transfer any binary data thru XI, images, spreadsheets, video, raw, etc.

Hi,

Yes it is possible to do using the Java mapping .You need to do XI Binary Conversion to process it.
