Webdynpro Apps w.r.t ESS

Hi all,

I want to Create WD applications w.r.t ESS business package.For this what r the initiatives i have to taken care?Please give some Suggestions on this...

And How to lock a BAPI from WD part?

Hi Ganesh,

We have developed Education, Passport, Nomination and Visa ESS applications in Web Dynpro. Data we are collecting in front end is based on fields which are mandatory in HR module of SAP.

We have n ot used any locking concept, but it is recommended. There are BAPIs available for locking DB record which we are processing.

Initiatives to eb taken are

1) Fields to be collected for each module

2)Bapis to be created
