How to manage the problems of documents being uploaded while they are still being updated in the current location.

Hi Debabrata,

Once a document is uploaded into SolMan, please make it a business rule for Consultants to make use of 'Check Out/Check In' functionality available and NOT edit their local versions on desktops or share drives on Windows directories.

This has to be a project wide discipline and SolMan can't help otherwise.

Scenario is like "Whole of Business Process as well as Application Documentation needs to be uploaded in Solution Manager Database at the same time those documention are still updated(create/Modify) at PC/Desktop." It's like continous Process of uploading & updating at Desktop.
