Steps to resolve the JSPM

1. Go to into the folder X:\usr\sap\ERS\DVEBMGS03\j2ee\JSPM\config

2. Open the BOOTSTRAP.XML file

3. Check the parameter <StringVariable name="OS/CODE">(This should be your OS e.g OS4, WIN or UNIX)</StringVariable>

4. This parameter should correspond to your Operating system

Then following the X:\usr\sap\ERS\DVEBMGS03\j2ee\JSPM\go.bat and execute, put in the Host name as the fully qualified name and keep the default port.

Hi Mrinalini

I have gone to X:\usr\sap\ERS\DVEBMGS03\j2ee\JSPM\config and have opened the BOOTSTRAP.XML file. I have checked the parameter <StringVariable name="OS/CODE">(This should be your OS e.g OS4, WIN or UNIX)</StringVariable> it is OK.

When I execute go.bat and I see the error: You must be SIDadm to run this program! if I execute StartGui.bat displays default host: localhost and port: 6240. I see the information

Connection to JSPM could not be established, see following message. Could not connect to host localhost on port 6240. java.net.Connection refused:connect

Can you help me.

Thanks

This means that you do not have proper authorisations on the OS level.

Once you get the right authorization, try to execute go.bat on the OS level and startGUI.bat on the windows platform. Use the default port and it would let you connect.

Hi Mrinalini,

The port is 6240 . Please check:

Hello All,

When i am using the sappfpar pf= CentralInstance\j2ee\JSPM\go.bat DIR_RSP_ROOT

and then starting StartGui.bat, the screen to enter the host and port comes up.

If i give the host name and port as 6240 - this gives an error that "JSPM could establish connection"

if i give the host name and port as 50300 (as in the J2EE page index.html ) -"msg.adapter.0002 Network input/output exception has occured.Error during read "

So what is the right way to correct this error. ?

Thanks in advance

This problem was resolved by changing the bootstrapConfig.xml with the right operating system (WIN or OS4).

Setting the JAVA_HOME path on your system.

Then start the JSPM. It works fine.

Hi Mrinalini,

I don't understand your question.

To start JSPM you need to execute go.bat or go.sh at

\usr\sap\<sid>\DVEBMGS<XX>\j2ee\JSPM\ or \usr\sap\<sid>\JC<XX>\j2ee\JSPM\
