Hi!
In Solar02 transaction, under column ' type' I see a object name ' rolle'(roles). Has anyone used this feature? Does it help in building security roles and profiles.
Thanks.

I guess the Types used in SM in SOLAR02 are as below.
· Job
· Organizational unit
· Position
· User
Hope it helps.

Thanks for your response Sri.
I was not clear in my initial post. I find the object "Rolle"(Roles) under configuration tab when I run Solar02. I entered a role name there and it takes me to PFCG (S000) of the target sytem.
How does this feature help me? How exactly do we use this feauture during implemenation? Fellow SDNers can share their experiences.

Dear Mike,
The use of "Roles" tab in SOLAR02 is:
You have uploaded the training materials under "Training materials" tab. & under "Roles" tab, with the category "user", you have assigned some user.
Now you go to t.code: SOALR_LEARNING_MAP, you can filter the training materials based on the roles what you have assigned in SOLAR02.

Senthil
