Hi

Sales Org - An organizational unit which is responsible for all sales related activities.

Dist Channel - A channel through which you would sale your products in market for eg retail, wholesale, ecommerce etc.,

Division - all product ranges are divided into division

exable - bikes, cars, spares, etc

In sap the above three form a sales area

Hi,

sales organization means "An organizational unit responsible for the sale of certain products or services.

The responsibility of a sales organization may include legal

liability for products and customer claims.

Dis,, channel:The way in which products or services reach the customer. Typical examples of distribution channels are wholesale, retail, or directsales.,Exports business and domestic business.

Division:A way of grouping materials, products, or services. The system uses divisions to determine the sales areas and the business areas for a material, product, or service.

For all these in SAP we define with some numbers say sales org 1100 domestic 1500-exports

dis channel:10 or 20

division:10,20,325,40..etc

each material is created in one division only.i.e the same material code will not be in two divisions.
