Urgent - pls help - can we make a duplicated copy of a DC component

Hi all,can we make a duplicated copy of a DC component by having another name? said the original DC is GR and the copied DC is GR_PO? If yes,how should i do it? and will it bring any conflict? Thanks

Hi,

Yes offcourse you can copy a DC. After copying the DC just change the project name in the .project file as:

<name>GR_PO</name>

Open .project file with any editor and do the above changes.

Hope this will solve problem.

i tried...when i deployed..alot of problem

i got the class not found n negative cache...could it be bcoz both DC also having a same applicatin name?

Change name of Application and WDcomponent names

DC build-> and deploy

In step 1: Go to <Inst.Drive>:\Documents and Settings\<user>\.dtc\LocalDevelopment\DCs\sap.com\<DC>\_comp
