Unable to install service

I tried to install the service though sapstrartsrv.exe on but I am getting an error " cannot install service 421,

acount name is invalid or does not exist,or password is invalid for the account name specified"

I used the <sid>adm user & password. username & password I entered are correct as I sucesfully logged in to the system with the username.

Can anyone help me out

What service are you trying to install and what was the command you are running to install the service.

Hi Adil,

I am unbale to start sap though mmc, so I uninstalled the sap service & tired to re-install it again.

I am using sapstartsrv.exe comand

Hi Ayna,

Can you please check the SAPService<SID> and the SAP<SID> passwords.

Also check the SAP<SID>_00 by stopping and starting the service.

Also can you find the latest kernel patch from service.sap.com and install that to rule out any issues with any kernel executables.

Then delete the SAP systems off the SAPMMC and create them again.
