Merge two records MDM client

Hello:

I'm trying to merge two records, but when I select those records I see the "Merge" disabled, grayed out, I can't select that option.

I'm using MDM SP2, the table is flat...

Any ideas? thanks

Hi Alejandro,

Please note that you can only use "Merge Records" only for Main Table. At the same time, this option is only enabled in "Record" mode.

"Key Mapping" must be set to Yes for this work as well...

I see... can you please explain a little bit about why I can only merge on Main table?

I'd think that merging would be useful on other tables as well.

hi,

As for as SP2 Concern Repository and Main table will have 1 to 1 relations and when we are trying to merger more than 1 record all are related with Main table, so it wont be a problem. Alejandro kindly explain ur issue more details what kind of records you are playing with.
