Using Public Part of DC from a different track

Hello Everyone,

I have created a track A, and imported an SC "thirdparty" from track B. I then imported the development configuration of track A into Developer's Studio and see the SC that I imported.

Now, I am trying to declare a public part of a DC belonging to the SC "thirdparty" as a "Used part" of my application. But the wizard for adding a used part complains "Illegal dependency: The compartment of com.mycompany.... must explicitly use compartment of".

So, I can't "Use" any of the public parts of the DC (of an SC) that was imported into the track?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Kiran,

Just make sure that in the SLD you have diffined the component dependency of the "thirdparty" into your appliation.

If not define the dependancy in the SLD then reimport the SC in the track. and then reimport the track in the NDS.
